Mount Kinabalu 31.01.2013 - 01.02.2013

Image
Hi guys. Recently I climbed Mount Kinabalu with workmates. Sadly, we didn't managed to reach the summit as it was raining heavily at 2.30 am that day. However, I accepted it as a sign that God wants me to visit Mount Kinabalu again another day. Carson Fall It was fun and superb! I felt amazing. Along the way, there were times I wanted to quit but with perseverance, positive mind-set and also encouragement from friends, I made it! Right: Timpohon Gate - Laban Rata Left: Laban Rata - Timpohon Gate The 3 of us, Karen, Jennifer and I, reached Laban Rata in 4 hours 45 minutes. 1 hour 15 minutes faster than average. We were surprised but anyhow it is a good accomplishment. Not bad for first timers. Some of our friends, reached Laban Rata in only 4 hours or less. Crazy right? Next time Mount Kinabalu! P/S: Right now, I am on a plane going somewhere. To where? Will write about it in my next post. Hopefully. Hehehe. God bless!

Oh My BB Cream!

Image
A post about BB Cream by Sasa . Enjoy! ---------------------- Heard of BB cream? We won’t be surprised if the majority of you have tried BB cream at least once; after all, it has been all the rage for the past few years. Although there are mainly Korean brands for BB cream products, many international companies are also catching up and launching their own version of the BB cream. So, now, what is BB cream? BB cream is the abbreviated (and more commonly used) term for  Blemish Balm cream . And yes, it is one of the hottest and best-selling beauty products out of Asia. BB cream originated in Germany and was initially used by dermatologists to help their patients who had gone through laser skin surgery soothe and regenerate the skin. BB cream also helps to protect the skin from the sun since post-surgery (e.g. peeling and laser treatment) skin tends to be more sensitive and vulnerable. In addition, it also helps to conceal the post-surgery scars and reddness that s...

Adegan Filem Punca Remaja Merokok

Image

Why Should We Exercise

Image
Flabby arms are what women always complaint about. Including me. Last time, when I used to be a school athlete, I have no problem with my arms. I represented my school in shot-putt (that was the first time I met Mr. D) and also discus throw. As years goes by, I became lazy. I seldom work my body out. I didn't involved myself much in sports. I still do sit-ups but only few times in a week. I only go for a jog when my friend brings me. Plus, eating burgers for dinner every night is usual for me. I gained 10kg in a year. After gaining 10 kg, it was a wake up call for me. Luckily for me I stand at 5' 5" , so I didn't look fat. Chubby cheeks, quite big ass and breast (blame the fats). What surprises me was my waist maintained just like that. Maybe because of those few sit-ups exercises that I've been doing 3-4 times a week. Or maybe it's because of my younger age, those fats didn't prefer to stay at my waist but other body parts. *smirk* 2008 For another ...

Weight issues

Image
To tell you the truth I have gained 3 kg in just ONE FREAKING MONTH. My BMI is still normal but I really don't want this extra 3 kg. Sorry to say. If this trend continues until the end of the year, I will kill myself. No la just kidding bah. I am not going to let it happen so let's start a healthy lifestyle. My type of body is makan banyak this week, next week tambah berat badan and makan sikit this week, next week turun berat badan. Just like that. I know that our body needs exercise everyday. If not everyday maybe selang one day la. As for me, I just have to get back at my no rice & no meat diet. That's all I have to do and after a month, my weight will be back to the numbers that I wanted. Hopefully my body metabolism is still the same as before. Want some proof? Let me show these 2 pictures to you. Chubby cheeks will be the indicator that I've gained weight. Angle of picture taken is hardly the issue here. Even hairstyle is also NOT the issue. Before ...

Ladies, please check your purse.

This post is continued from the previous post alright. I went into a beauty shop in Wisma Merdeka, the main purpose is to only buy their lip gloss. Instead, I added a nail polish & an eyeliner in the list, thinking that I have enough money to buy all 3 items. I didn't realize that I was short of RM2. I thought I had a RM50 notes in my purse. Yeah. How silly of me. I forgot that I've used it to pay for the Za Toner at Guardian. Luckily mum was around the corner at that time. Fuh! Have to leave that shop for about 2 minutes to search for her. Moreover, I was their only customer in the shop. If not, it will be much more embarrassing to me. I just smiled at them and act cool during that silly moment. Steady ko Stef! How silly can I be. Last time it happened once in Wisma Merdeka too but Mr. D saved the day. No more next time. Enough liao. Gini la bah kalau x pandai jara kan? Sendiri mau tau lah~

What Your Sleep Position Says About Your Relationship

Image
I stumbled upon this article when I was reading a magazine in the ferry from Menumbok to Labuan the other day. It's not the same information but it's almost similar. I got another interesting article to share with you but will blog about it in my next post perhaps. Sharing the bed together can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. Sometimes your partner might be all cuddled up with you, other times they may become blanket thieves in the night or even push you right out of bed (unintentionally we hope!) If you’ve ever wondered if how you sleep beside each other at night might give a few clues to your relationship, you could be right. Here are some common sleep positions that might shed a little light on your relationship: Spooning One of the most commonly known sleep positions, this is where both couples sleep very close together facing the same direction while the outside person puts an arm around you. This sleeping position can be a sign of security/protection (think...

Dry Eye, Eye Drops, Dry Eye Treatment

Dry eye is a condition in which there are insufficient tears to lubricate and nourish the eye. Tears are necessary for maintaining the health of the front surface of the eye and for providing clear vision. People with dry eyes either do not produce enough tears or have a poor quality of tears. Dry eye is a common and often chronic problem, particularly in older adults. With each blink of the eyelids, tears are spread across the front surface of the eye, known as the cornea. Tears provide lubrication, reduce the risk of eye infection, wash away foreign matter in the eye, and keep the surface of the eyes smooth and clear. Excess tears in the eyes flow into small drainage ducts, in the inner corners of the eyelids, which drain in the back of the nose. One of the most popular ways to correct vision is with a procedure called LASIK (laser in-situ keratomileusis), which uses a laser to change the curvature of the cornea (outer window of the eye). LASIK is for those...

Wei.. It's Father's Day!! Yippee

Image
Today everyone is celebrating Father's Day with their family. A husband, a father, a grandfather, a great grandfather and etc.. Some of them are still here with us but some of them might be up there in heaven, watching us grow day by day and night by night. We love them for always being there for us. To my dad, Mr Jinius Jipanin. Thank you dad for becoming the world's greatest dad. You have taught me everything since the day I came to this world. When I made mistakes, you scolded me for it. I know that the experience of watching me grow up for these 22 years are full of tears and joy. However, despite of all that, mum and dad never stop to guide me. I realized that I have always let you guys down. Sometimes, I have said things that one should never speak their parents. Who are we to shout at them or sometimes scream at them like a crazy person. Thank you dad for this wonderful experience. I am becoming a better person because of your love and care. I still remember the da...

Camellia sinensis a.k.a Green Tea

I have been wanting to reduce a few more kg since I-don't-know-and-not-so-sure-when but somehow I managed to lose 7 kg so far. However, a few more kg perhaps? Bahahaha~ Then, I found out that green tea may help in getting the job well done. Green tea has been consumed throughout the ages in India, China, Japan, and Thailand. In traditional Chinese and Indian medicine, practitioners used green tea as a stimulant, diuretic (to promote the excretion of urine), astringent (to control bleeding and help heal wounds), and to improve heart health. Other traditional uses of green tea include treating flatulence (gas), regulating body temperature and blood sugar, promoting digestion, and improving mental processes.   Weight loss information regarding green tea: Clinical studies suggest that green tea extract may boost metabolism and help burn fat. One study confirmed that the combination of green tea and caffeine improved weight loss and maintenance in overweight and moderately obes...
