High alert when you withdraw money from ATM

High Alert when you withdraw money from ATM

On Friday(12/11/10) afternoon around 5:30pm I was at Queensbay Mall, Penang, doing some financial payments (credit card, mobile and etc).
I went to the 1st floor Maybank ATM to withdraw some money.

As the ATM was finalizing my payment, someone tap me on the shoulder. Naturally I turned around, and there was this stocky Middle Eastern man (around 5ft 2in, fair complexion), pointing to some money on the floor (around RM30+ there were 3-10 ringgit and several 1 ringgit notes).

He said “ I saw you drop your money just now”. Coincidently today I have some bundled spare notes in my shirt pocket. So I pick up the ringgits on the floor.
Suddenly a lady also of Middle Eastern descent – shoulder length curly hair, fair complexion, 5ft 3in said to me “ It’s my money!” then the man told her “ No, I saw him dropping it – while pointing to me”. Instantly I check my shirt pocket, with a quick glance I felt and saw my bundle of spare notes is intact. Without any hesitation, I pass the money to the lady and said “It’s your money, not mine.”

Within split second, I turn back to the ATM and saw a male person hand (did not see the face) was approaching for my ATM card that the machine automatically return upon finishing a transaction. Out of natural instinct, I slap on the wrist of the person’s hand that was trying to take my ATM card.
And the person quickly walk off, I did not have a chance to look at the face as I was waiting for the ATM to dispense out my RM1500.

All this happens within 2-3 seconds. When I finally got my cash and turn around, the Middle Eastern man and women has disappeared including the taller male person that was trying to take my ATM card and most possibly my cash. I quickly went down the escalator to see where they have gone, I manage to catch a glimpse of the Middle Eastern lady as she was going down the escalator but then she also quickly vanished.

If I had been slightly doubtful of my own cash in my shirt pocket OR being greedy, I would most likely had my RM1500 stolen. The Middle Eastern man and lady job is to create a diversion and confusion, while another person is responsible to snatch the cash out of the machine while I was not looking.

This could happen in any mall and there were some people withdrawing from few other machines as well. So it is not a totally secluded condition. I firmly believe they are not the only group in Penang or Malaysia.

Points to be on high alert:
1. If somebody tap your shoulder while you are withdrawing from ATM, make sure you are mindful of your surrounding and especially focus on taking your money first.
2. Their usual trick is to create confusion. Focus on what you are doing.
3. Best is to have a friend with you when you go to the ATM.

Please let everyone you know on this incident. Especially now when near the festive seasons, they are preying on your bonus and salary!
          Jimmy Khoo.

Is your job killing you?

Women with stressful jobs are twice as likely to have a heart attack.

Results from a study by Dr. Michelle Albert, which were presented at the American Heart Disease Association, revealed that women who have stressful and demanding jobs are two times more likely to suffer from a stroke or a heart attack in comparison to women with less stressful jobs.
Tight deadlines, stress and work demands or worries about losing you job in a tough economy, especially on top of running a home, released ‘fight or flight’ hormones in the women with stressful jobs which immediately raises blood pressure.
Other side effects from having a stressful job were heart problems, higher cholesterol, blocked arteries, strokes and were 43 per cent more likely to need bypass surgery in comparison to those in less stressful jobs.
A similar study related to stressfound that they can also age you by a decade. British newspaper, The Daily Mail, reported that scientists found that stress is “the over-riding factor when it comes to the rate at which we grow older.”
Our DNA and cells are protected by telomeres, but as our cells divide or are subjected to damage, the telomeres get shorter and this is how we age. Stress is what damages the telomeres the most and the shorted these telomeres are the more unprotected our DNA becomes.
It was found that middle-aged women are the ones most affected by this who are juggling jobs, elderly parents and children in their teenage years.
To reduce the damages of stress:
Don’t diet – its stressful and demanding on us physically and psychologically
Meditate - deep breathing, controlling your thoughts and clearing your mind reduces stress.
Exercise – it disperses stress hormones from the blood.
Have a positive outlook – research found pessimists have shorter telomeres.
Eat right – omega-3 encourage telomeres to grow and pistachios protect DNA
Sleep – the body repairs itself when we sleep.

Digi Karaoke Superstar - Preliminary

Sorry everybody. Yesterday I was supposed to go for the Preliminary round at KKBox Karamunsing (Digi Karaoke Superstar). But somehow I was super-duper lazy and tired. I decided to call them and ask them to cancel my name. Good luck to those who are participating! All the best!

P/S: Funny the lady on the phone asked me 'Cancel pergi mana?' (Cancel to where?). Hahaha~ I replied 'Cancel la. Kasi keluar nama saya dari itu contest' (Cancel as in remove my name out from the list) =_="

Top 10 Skills That Impress Woman

Got this article from Askmen.com. Do drop by the website for more interesting articles :)

Let's begin the Top 10 Skills That Impress Woman! Some of you might agree with it but for those of you who doesn't, feel free to drop by some comments.

No. 10 - Speaking other languages
Difficulty to acquire: 8/10
Certainly the hardest skill on this list to pick up as an adult, speaking a foreign language is a sign either of dedication (that you've taken the time and effort to learn) or of worldliness, and women will be intrigued by both of those, particularly if you don't flaunt the ability and just let it come up at the right moment. Obviously you're not going to learn a language overnight, but the resources are endless -- you only need to supply the time.

**Mr. D does know how to speak Japanese & Mandarin :)

No. 9 -  Playing an instrument
Difficulty to acquire: 7/10
For starters, playing an instrument well is just an impressive ability, period. It speaks volumes, to men and women alike, about your character. On the other hand, where another man might just respect your ability to master what is, for most people, not an easy skill, women will equate your ability to play an instrument with a poetic sensibility they might not otherwise have recognized in you.

**Mr. D plays the guitar. He can play the drums as well.

No. 8 -  Fixing a car
Difficulty to acquire: 6/10
Learning how to fix a car will probably seem daunting if engines have mystified you up until this point, but luckily you don't really need to know much. The objective is to understand enough that you maintain your car correctly and can actually diagnose car troubles (particularly in the company of a woman) instead of just opening the hood and looking puzzled. Besides, knowing the basics will make you seem like less of a rube to dishonest mechanics.

**Every time my car broke down, Mr. D will the 1st person I will call.

No. 7 -  Dancing
Difficulty to acquire: 4/10
If there's one way to demonstrate that you're confident, easygoing and approachable all at once, it's dancing. On the surface, dancing is pretty straightforward, and there's certainly nothing hard about it -- you're moving your body rhythmically, and how you're doing it isn't too important. The hangup here is feeling that you're too uncoordinated or too shy to try, in which case it may seem daunting.

**Mr. D dances alright. Shuffle? He loved to dance to irritate me. I found it hilarious.

No. 6 - Cooking
Difficulty to acquire: 3/10
You don't have to take classes or start shopping for expensive cookware -- just start small. Every woman, everywhere, is just a little bit pleasantly surprised to discover that a man can cook, actually wants to cook and seems to genuinely know what he's doing, so begin by perfecting a handful of recipes. The bonus here is that you'll soon be eating better and tastier food yourself. Once you've mastered a few classics (like making the perfect steak and some side dishes), expand your repertoire as you see fit.

**I love it when he cooks. I will do the dishes afterwards but it doesn't matter. I love his cooking but he always wants me to cook for him. That's one of my responsibility as his girlfriend.

No. 5 -  Athletics
Difficulty to acquire: 6/10
As much as women want you to have an emotional, sensitive side, they still want you to be a man, and playing a tough, physically demanding sport is about as masculine as it gets. Bragging about your golf game might impress your coworkers, but it doesn't have quite the same impact to a woman as boxing, football or some other high-intensity, testosterone-fueled activity.

**Mr. D plays basketball, badminton and etc. Both of us were athletes back in the school years.

No. 4 - Handyman skills
Difficulty to acquire: 4/10
This broad category covers everything a man can reasonably be expected to do in maintaining a home and doing basic repairs; none of this stuff is as complicated as working with a car, and it mostly comes down to having the right tools for the job and being willing to get your hands dirty. There's virtually nothing the internet can't tell you how to fix, but it's no less impressive to a woman when you can be relied upon for all those repairs.

**I haven't got the opportunity to watch him fix something yet. I know he's a handyman.

No. 3 - Bedroom skills
Difficulty to acquire: 6/10
Sex is important, even if not for its own sake, then because women often read into it emotionally and assign it its own relevance as an indicator of how you feel about them.

**I'm not going to brag any skills here. Thank you. *censored* Hahaha~

No.2 - Style and grooming
Difficulty to Acquire: 2/10
Every guy has his own personal style, but there's a thin line between hipster carelessness and looking like a slob. It's better to stay a comfortable distance on the clean-cut side of that line. There's nothing difficult or even time-consuming about good grooming, but women often complain that men simply don't bother to take care of their appearances, and the only excuse to let yourself go completely is laziness.

**Mr. D is a man of simple fashion. Like me! But I tell you, when it comes to fashion crime, he's the boss. Fashion police!

No. 1 - Conversation
Difficulty to acquire: 6/10
Though it might not strike you as much of a skill when you're shooting the bull with friends, conversation with women -- in whom you're interested and whom you don't know well -- is a skill, and one that takes some practice. Listening and actually paying attention becomes infinitely more important. You want to come across as both confident and empathetic, which is something of a balancing act. Being able to explain and adequately express yourself, though, can easily cover for lacking any of these other skills, which is why it's so crucial.

**One day, Mr. D is going to be a politician. That's all I can say. He's the man!

I feel blessed for having you by my side Mr. D. Thank you for loving me.

Narnia: The Voyage of The Dawn Trader

3rd Narnia

Synopsis: Lucy and Edmund Pevensie return to Narnia with their cousin Eustace where they meet up with Prince Caspian for a trip across the sea aboard the royal ship The Dawn Treader. Along the way they encounter dragons, dwarves, merfolk, and a band of lost warriors before reaching the edge of the world.

Rating: 4 out of 5

Hm. Finally I've watched all 3 movies that I wanted to watch since 2 weeks ago. Read this post. How come it took me 2 weeks for just 3 movies? Been busy, that's all.

Catched this movie with Mr. D this Tuesday at Growball Cinemax Centre Point, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Didn't go for the 3D because my 2 younger brothers told me there's nothing special with the 3D. That's why we just chose 2D.

I was quite disappointed for the 2 elder siblings, Peter and Susie didn't involved much in this 3rd Narnia movie because of they've become grown-ups. I want to see the 4 of them in Narnia.

Story-line is good. I really like it when Eustace turned into a Golden Dragon. At least he knew that he's more than just a sarcastic cousin. Really dislike him at the beginning of the movie. Another favourite part of mine is when Reepicheep taught Eustace how to sword fight! Hihi.

What are the upcoming movies to watch? Heading to GSC's website now. Bye!

Yes. I am a GG freak. Thank you.

Who doesn't love to watch Gossip Girl. I just love the way their drama goes on and on because at the end of the day it will end just like the way we wanted it to be with just a little twist of course.

Casts of GG4. Oh my Taylor Momsen. What happened to you.

I love S&B! They're like the best BFF ever. No matter how messed up is their life, you can't just break off their friendship.

But why must you only be shown on 24 Jan 2011 for the next episode of GG4!

Ok. I'm done. I will just keep myself busy for the time being.

Digi Karaoke Superstar (Audition)

Hello everyone. Today I went for the audition. I have some good news for ya. I made it to the Top 50. Hooray! Thank God for giving me the chance to the make it to the next round. I know if it's Your will, it shall be done according to Your name. I was joining it for fun and I can't believe I am among of the Top 50 for preliminary round. Ceh. Over-joyed sudah. Hehe.

Oh well. The audition started at 12.30pm in KKBox Karamunsing. There were supposed to be 67 contestants to come for the audition today but I can only see around 20-30 people who came just now with me. Some of them came with their family and friends. According to the person-in-charge Madam KKBox (I didn't get her name bah), the auditions will be held for 3 days (11,12 & 18 Dec). Supposed only 200 participants but due to the overwhelming numbers of participants who came for the registration the other day, they added 50 in the registration list and another 50++ in the waiting list. Meaning to say, there's 300 or more people! Crazy.

I am contestant no. 7. Funny eh. I thought I was the 1st person who registered the other day. Nvm.

Another good news is erk actually I'm not sure it's a good news or maybe it's just my luck. Their system is like this, if the 2 judges agrees to let you pass to the next round, they will show a green card instead of a red card (macam AF ja kan). Afterwards, the Madam KKBox will lend you a piece of paper saying that you've made it to the next round (macam American Idol pla).

Yeap. This is the congratulations-for-making-it-to-the-next-round paper. Haha

Ok ok. The good news is I am the 1st contestant who made it to the next round. Hihihi. So happy.

Wish me luck for the next round. Preliminary round will be held on 19 Dec. Hope I can make it to Top 20 this time. Huhu. Thank God they will start it at 1.00pm this time. It's hard to sing especially in the morning. Need to really warm-up the voice bah. Very troublesome. Haha :D

In the original version of the fairy tale, Sleeping Beauty was raped.

Yes. Sleeping Beauty was raped. Don't believe me? Please continue to read.

Source: Wikipedia & Altereddimensions

Sun, Moon, and Talia (Sole, Luna, e Talia) is an Italian literary fairy tale written by Giambattista Basile in his 1634 work, The Pentamerone. Charles Perrault retold this fairy tale in 1697 as Sleeping Beauty.

Sun, Moon and Talia
Wise men warned the great King that his daughter Talia was in grave danger – there was poison in the palace’s flax.  A ban was put on flax but as expected, Talia still ran across a splinter while spinning flax on the flax-spinning wheel.  In great despair, the king placed her sleeping (or dead) body on a velvet clothe and left her in the forest.

Some time later, a rich nobleman was hunting in the woods when he ran across the abandoned body of Sleeping Beauty.  Far from planting a kiss, the nobleman instead raped her sleeping body, from which resulted a pregnancy.  Nine months later, Sleeping Beauty gave birth to two children (and named them Sun and Moon) and the forest fairies took care of them while Sleeping Beauty continued her slumber.  Whilst placing the babes to Sleeping Beauty’s breasts, one of the children accidentally mistook her thumb for a nipple and sucked out the poison splinter.  Talia awoke from her deep sleep.

Months later, the nobleman decided to return to the woods to have more sex with Sleeping Beauty’s body when to his surprise, he found her awake.  The nobleman confesses that he raped her and they again had sex in the barn. The nobleman then returns home to his wife.

The nobleman’s wife found out about the sexual encounter and ordered the children be kidnapped and cooked alive.  The cook prepared the fiendish disk and served it to the rich nobleman at his dinner.  As the nobleman finished his meal, the wife boldly announced “you are eating what is your own!”.  Alas, as it turns out, the cook had a soft heart and instead of killing and cooking the children, he substituted a goat instead.  Talia and the children and her rapist new love interest lived happily ever after.

Animal Abuse - Mercy The 10-month-old Puppy

Mercy

Mercy, the 10-month-old puppy who was doused with gasoline and set on fire, has died. Her little heart just gave out.

She was a gentle soul who showed remarkable strength and courage - she inspired us all! Mercy died Sunday evening about 9:30 p.m. at the veterinary clinic where she was being treated. Doctors said Mercy showed some improvement Saturday, but her condition started to deteriorate Sunday afternoon. She was given a plasma transfusion, but shortly afterward her heart--weakened by burns over 60% over her body--stopped beating.

The young pit-bull mix was rescued Friday, April 14, by a Dallas man who saw her in the wooded area behind apartments in Far North Dallas. He took the dog to Operation Kindness, where she was given immediate veterinary care. Mercy was transferred to the Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center last Monday.

She had surgery the following day to remove most of her burned ears and begin the painful debridement treatment. Doctors cautioned that, because of the severity and extent of her injuries--which also included stab wounds and cuts--her prognosis was guarded.

"All of us at Operation Kindness, as well as thousands of people who have been moved by her plight, are grieving for Mercy," said Jonnie England, executive director at Operation Kindness. "We were so hopeful that this beautiful, gentle dog, who had suffered and endured unbearable pain, would pull through in the end. It's more important than ever that the person who brutalized her be caught and brought to justice--for Mercy's sake." She will be privately cremated and her askes will be spread in Operation Kindness' Memorial Garden so she will rest in peace forever.

Thanks to the outpouring of support for Mercy, her veterinary bills have been covered by caring people who were touched by her plight. Donations made For Mercy's Sake will be used to help Operation Kindness care for other unwanted, abused and neglected animals like Mercy.

I just don't get it why do you want to abuse animals? What's the rationale behind it? Stupid.

Digi Karaoke Superstar

This is a short post.

I am IN for the auditions!

KK Box Karamunsing - 11.30am

Wish me luck!

Canon EOS 60D vs. Nikon D90

Bf wants to own his own DSLR (digital single-lens camera) since he's one crazy person who really love to snap pictures. Can't compare to my cam-whoring skills with cellphones la wei. Haha.

The question is Canon or Nikon? Canon....... Nikon....... I am not very crazy about photography but I might have the passion in it. On and off or so to say. With the help of dad's Nikon D90, I can be a crazy paparazzi at times. Haha. That's why when the bf ask for my opinion which DSLR to buy, I will definitely say Nikon. Why? I'm used to a Nikon. Plus, Nikon is very user friendly. There's no need for me to open the manual book in order for me to use it. Canon in the other hands, in my opinion, is not user friendly. My answer is not convincing enough right. Heh.

Canon EOS 60D vs. Nikon D90

For those who doesn't know what EOS is. It's Electro-Optical System

The following statement doesn't relate with this post. Eos is the goddess of the dawn in Greek mythology (Wikipedia)

Eos is a nice name to name a girl :)

Ok. Back to our main topic. Hahahaha :D

Of course, by just looking this side-by-side picture of both brands with it's respective models, one can't simply make the choice. Pictures comes with descriptions. Descriptions make us understand more about the picture but pictures can be deceiving, don't you agree? I'm disappointed why Nikon put that red colour on its D90. That is so Canon-look, definitely not a Nikon-look. Well, that's not the main story here. Let's proceed to the next paragraph.

Thanks to a website called Snapsort, I can see the pros and cons of each camera now. Maybe you have other better website to recommend to me, please don't hesitate to do so :)

Another website which offers very detailed comparison of both cameras. DownloadAtoz. Visit their website for more information. I will only include their summary here.

'Canon EOS 60D and Nikon D90 both has a CMOS optical sensor, but the resolution of them are different: the 60D has a 18-megapixel resolution while the D90's resolution is only 12.3-megapixel. They both have the face detection, white balance and video capture capability. However, Canon EOS 60D is better in about any advanced compared to two years old Nikon D90, though the Nikon D90 is $200 cheaper. To know which of the two cameras is better, you should learn more parameter details' - DownloadAtoz -

What do you think? I'm going to set up a poll. Do vote which one do you prefer :)

Which camera model do you prefer?

Is it the end of the world?

Got an e-mail from my mum about this latest robbery technique. Want to share with all of you. Aiya. What's happening to the world nowadays? Hm. Hope all of you stay alert at all times. Let's pray to God so that all of us will always be safe wherever we may be. Amen. Kindly read and spread the word it to your loved ones if you want to :)

Ladies, please check your purse.

This post is continued from the previous post alright.

I went into a beauty shop in Wisma Merdeka, the main purpose is to only buy their lip gloss. Instead, I added a nail polish & an eyeliner in the list, thinking that I have enough money to buy all 3 items. I didn't realize that I was short of RM2. I thought I had a RM50 notes in my purse. Yeah. How silly of me. I forgot that I've used it to pay for the Za Toner at Guardian. Luckily mum was around the corner at that time. Fuh! Have to leave that shop for about 2 minutes to search for her. Moreover, I was their only customer in the shop. If not, it will be much more embarrassing to me. I just smiled at them and act cool during that silly moment. Steady ko Stef! How silly can I be. Last time it happened once in Wisma Merdeka too but Mr. D saved the day. No more next time. Enough liao. Gini la bah kalau x pandai jara kan? Sendiri mau tau lah~

One story at a time please.

Hello. Que tal? Onu mangan diozu baino? How is your weekend going? Yesterday it was all about going out with family and friends. Today it was all about going to church and spending quality time with Mr. D. Am I really good in arranging my quality time? Saturday is for my family and friends. Sunday is for my spirituality and boyfriend.

Saturday morning, I went to Karamunsing & Wisma Merdeka with mum, dad and Aaron. Not really shopping for Christmas but just to arrange something about the LCD TV and also buying new school's stuff for Aaron. Woah. Next year my bro is going to be a Form 5 student and will be seating for his SPM. How fast can the time flies?

As for me, I do have my own reason to go to Karamunsing. Hahaha. To check out the Digi Karaoke Superstar at KK Box Karamunsing of course. If you're a Digi customer, you'll receive a message from them promoting about it. I got the same message too last Friday, then without any second thoughts, I decided to participate in this contest. No harm in trying right? I called KK Box the day before just to ask whether we need to pay anything or not to join this contest (you know, contests like these are hanky-panky at times, I need to be extra careful, am I being paranoid here or what? :D), they informed me to come and just take the form, no need to pay anything. They'll start the registration tomorrow (4 Dec) at 11am. The next day I reached there exactly 11am. There were like 30-40 people waiting already! But not queuing up, just standing here and there with their group of friends. I went directly to the counter and ask about the Digi thingy, they replied 'Please wait for a while because the forms are not ready yet'. Duh. I decided to wait next to the counter with a friend I met there coincidentally. Huhu. Btw, Digi will only going to accept 200 participants. That's why I went there as early as possible. Hahaha. Aaron accompanied me while my parents went to SenQ.

This is the best part, when we saw the forms arrived, my friend and I quickly line up in front of the counter. Guess what? I was the 1st person to get the form. Before they distribute the forms to us, the KK Box staff asked us to show the message we have received from Digi regarding the contest and then I have to write in my name in their list (I think they want to record and make sure that the quota of 200 participants does not exceeds). I joyfully write my name, take the form and fill it up straight away. Aaron helped me to read out the song choices while I was busy filling up the forms. Only 1 song is needed for this stage. Song choices are very limited. Malay, English & Chinese songs, 25 song titles for each languages. I was upset for my killer songs To Love You More - Celine Dion or One Moment In Time - Whitney Houston was not in the list. I made a hard decision by choosing a Malay number. Hohoho. Langit ke-7 by Sharifah Zarina. Hope that song will give me luck in this contest. Hero - Mariah Carey and My Heart Will Go On - Celine was in the list but I've sang those 2 songs many times already. Oh well. Now I just have to wait for Digi to message me when and what time I'm required to come for the audition. Yeap. There will be 5 rounds: audition (200 participants), preliminary (50), quarter final (20), semi final (10) and grand final (6). For the audition and preliminary rounds, it will be held at KK Box itself. From quarter finals onwards, Centre Point will be the center stage of attraction. Semi finalists are required to perform 2 songs in front of live audience. I like! Ceh. I don't even know if I can make it to the preliminaries. *sigh* I hope I can make it to the finals and win it. I want it so badly. Ish.

Actually, something really embarrassing happened to me at Wisma Merdeka afterwards but I'm so sleepy now. May I continue the story in my next post? Please. Goodnight :P

Swallow Tail

Thanks Nina Manson for tagging with this post. She tagged me on Nov 13 and today is Dec 3. Woah~ That's like 3 weeks late? Well, the reason is when I wanted to do this post, I was at the office. Office don't have that much songs. When I'm at home, I forgot about this 'assignment'. Haha. My mistake.

Okay~~~ Now I present to you, oops before that....I'm tagging :

The Rules:
Put your music library on shuffle. For each question, press the next button to get your answer. You must write that song title as the answer to the question, no matter how silly it sounds! Most of the time they seem to work though, strangely enough. Ok, go! When you're done, tag 20 people in this note, and make sure to tag the person who sent you this. The answer to #20 is the Title of your note.

1.If someone says, “Is this okay?” you say..
"Never Say Never" - The Fray
(Hahaha. That's a very good way to answer someone. So clever~)

2. How would you describe yourself?
"Sampai Hati" - John Samud
(Means 'how dare you'. Oh well.)

3. What do you like in a guy/girl?
"I Wanna Hold Your Hand" - The Beatles

Random pictures of the day

Pictures I want to share with you from my SE T715 :)

This picture was taken from Siti's car during our way to have lunch at McD Api-api. Someone had a special McD delivery that day :) Oh well. His office was just around the corner so why not?

Family went to Clark, Manila for a holiday vacation. Just came back just now. I wasn't included in the trip this time. The reason is I have to stay back at home and feed the dogs. They bought a lovely black handbag for me :P

Tiger is her name. Kiko's aunty. Hehe

My current hair colour. Don't know why it's dark brownish red colour. Dyed my hair twice with Liese's Cassis Berry & Milk Tea Brown. Reason is I didn't apply the 1st colour correctly (hair was reddish colour a bit but uneven). So I decided to buy a 2nd colour and confidently apply the dye following the step-by-step video by Liese. Tada! This is what my hair colour is now.

HARRY PORT anyone? Hahahahahahahahaha

Kiko The Crazy Miao

Today was a very busy day indeed. Non-stop working from morning until afternoon. Proceeded to the Terminal 2 Airport to fetch my family. Had dinner at Metro Restaurant, Donggongon. Arrived at home and have to send my housemaid to her place somewhere near See Khiong.

What about yours? Must be pretty hectic too right?

Mi hermosa hermana

Once upon a time in Tuaran, I was introduced to a person named Flora by mum. Back then, I was still in primary school and she was studying in a secondary school at Tamparuli. Mum was a teacher there last time.

Long story short, since that day, she became my foster sister. We always keep in touch with each other until now. As the days goes by, it has been 12 years since the day we parted and now she have her own family! :)

Tada! Mum & dad got the chance to meet them in KL during their short vacation last month. Well, she's residing there now with her new family but I heard from mum that they'll might move to Sabah.

Pulen, Kakak Flora, Baby Nashanti & mum

Three of them with dad.

*Kan best kalau sa pun ada sana. Blh jg dukung baby. Cubit pipi. Geram~~

Love you always Kakak Flora. xoxo

Harry Potter: The Deathly Hallows Part I - Movie Review

Yes. I have the book since 2007 (mum bought it for us) and I have not finish reading it! What a disappointment. Nvm, I will read it later at home. Promise!

Last night, despite of the heavy rainfall, mum, dad, my bro and I went to Megalong Cineplex Donggongon, Penampang to watch HP 7. The movie is alright. That's all I can say. Hahaha.

During highschool, after watching HP movies at the cinema, for sure I will be so damn excited and will talk about HP 24/7 with friends at school. But now, it's a different feeling. I think I've missed the 6th movie, I'm not sure whether I've watched it or not. Going to ask my bro if we had the DVD at home :)

Skyline - Movie Review

If you're planning to watch this movie in the cinema, I am warning you that this movie is going to make you miserable. It doesn't have any accepted ending at all. Usually, in any movies, you can accept whether the ending is happy or sad, but this one, NO! Even though it makes sense if I say maybe there'll be a Skyline 2 but who can imagine what kind of ending it would be. An alien for a dad and a human-being as your mummy?

Story-line sucks. Graphics & sound effect is very the bagus! (Nice)

DiGi BlackBerry Torch 9800 – Hotter and Smarter

I was in Singapore last week for a short just-for-the-weekend vacation with my family. FYI, it seems like a lot of them are using BlackBerry. Luckily, I don't have to pull out my very-ordinary-and-also-cheap cellphone from my bag for them to look at. It's pretty embarrassing. You feel like you are holding a Nokia 3310 amongst them. I am not kidding!! No offense but having the 'it' hand phone is like a living trend right now. Just like having those latest handbags, dresses, heels & etc for ladies. And having those latest gadgets & etc for guys.

I was so embarrassed. Ish.

I kept on telling myself that 'I WANT ONE TOO!'. However, financial circumstances won't allow me from having one. So, every night before I go to sleep, I could only pray for a BlackBerry magically appear in front of me. Doesn't matter what model of BB, as long as it's a BB lah :D Hahaha.

But... God have finally heard my prayers!! Now I have a chance to win it!! I don't care if it's only 0.1% of chances of winning it :) As long as I have tried mah. Woot~ woot~ Day dreaming about having a BlackBerry Torch 9800 in the palms of my hands now. Grrr.

Having BlackBerry Torch 9800 will totally make my life easier. Especially when the design is so hot! It's irresistible. What makes it so cool to have it is it comes with Digi's DG Smart Plan. That will make it double kudos. Hot BB + Smart DG = to die for 'it' gadget!! *Hyperventilating now*

" With the DG Smart Plan, you could get yourself a brand new Torch for only RM 1,499! Here’s why it’s the smarter plan for smartphones:

Surf SMART – Monthly Internet Unlimited plan for only RM 68
Call SMART – No minimum call usage
Save SMART – 100% rebate on the Internet Unlimited plan (terms & conditions apply)
Roam SMART – Unlimited data roaming for only RM 36 a day "

Kiko: Our Naughty Cat

Remember this new friend? That's Kiko. Thanks to Mama for naming her. We just call her Miaw. According to Mr. D, Kiko is not a suitable name for her because she is a super naughty-crazy cat. Haha. Sometimes, I also call her Galangas (which means stubborn in Kadazan). So basically, our new member of the family have plenty of names.

Kiko have been growing bigger for the pass 3 weeks. We fed her with Whiskas for Kitten - wet food (can find them at the supermarket). The ones that have been advertised in the tv nowadays. Just RM1.39 per sachet. Hoho. Everyday, she ate 1-2 sachets of it. Also we gave her Whiskas for Kitten - biscuit. From a stray/ very skinny kitty, Kiko blossomed into a very healthy/ cute kitty. We even bought her toys & collar which comes with a bell!

It's so hard to snap a picture of her. She keeps running around here and there. Never sits still! A very hyperactive kitty indeed. Usually, after you have fed a cat, that cat will lie down and rest. But, for Kiko, after finish eating, she will continue to play around like crazy. She likes to play hide-and-seek too. Haha. After she's tired of playing, then she will lie down next to you and fell asleep.

Kiko with Mr. D *sigh*

Here is a video of Kiko.

video

Kiko is a very special kitty. We love her so much. She brings joy and laughter to the family. Especially to Mama. Continue making us laugh with your silly actions Kiko. *She even likes to bite handphones, same like Mr. D's cat last time, Ketod*

Thank you God for Kiko :D Even though she doesn't lives with me (it's not safe for a cat to live under my roof, my dogs are very 'friendly'), she's in the hands of Mr. D who will take good care of her.
