The Butcher's Wife

 The Butcher's Wife (1991)

Starred by Demi Moore & Jeff Daniels
Directed by Terry Hughes

This is a nice movie to watch. Really nice~ I like it very much. Watched it this afternoon with mum at home. Astro HBO in HD people!! weeheeee.. Dad bought Astro Beyond + 42" Panasonic Flat Screen TV recently and I personally think it's because of World Cup 2010.. Hahaha :D

Yes. Mum seldom sit at the living room and watch the tv. She normally prefer to read books instead of wasting time watching tv. Hah. But not today fellas. Not today :)

Demi Moore do look good in blonde you know. Nothing can change that fact. Whether she's brunette or blonde, both hair colours suits good on her.. Hee.. I was only 3 years old when this movie was screened and only after 19 years I finally know this movie.. Punya lambat kan~

Movie Review: Toy Story 3 (3D)

Good afternoon amigos. Que tal? (How are you?) I bet all of you are in the Monday blues mood. So am I *sigh* Haha..

Baiklah. Let's proceed to my post of the day. Yesterday, I finally went to the movies with Mum, Steven, Aaron and Nana. Mum and me bought the tickets on Thursday for Sunday's movie.

It's not really worth it to watch Toy Story in 3D. Why? Not many 3D stuff pun. Shrek 3D much more better. So if you are planning to watch it, better watch it biasa-biasa one. Heh.

I love Mr. Potato-Head character in this movie. He is the funniest this time. Haha. Blame his body parts specialty (re-constructable). Does the word even exist? I just made it myself. Nvm. Hm. Go and watch it if you don't know what I mean here. I am afraid I might spoil it for you if I elaborate it here in my blog :)

The movie made me want to cry but luckily I didn't. Cartoon saja pun!! Eee..

Rating: 8 out of 10

Moral of the movie: Hold on to your toys. Take care of them. Keep them safe. Huahuahua~

Favourite quote I got from Toy Story 3: 'The Claw' by the 3 green cute aliens :D

A Day in UiTM

Hello fellow readers & bloggers, today I accompanied my dad to bring my brother to UiTM Menggatal for his registration. He's going to continue his study there by taking Diploma in something (I forgot).

We parked at the 'Tempat Letak Kereta Ibubapa' area and took the bus to Kolej Kediaman Cluster A/B.

Thank God I changed from a 5-inch heels to my flats. After going down from the bus, we have to walk to Cluster B which took us 10 minutes to reach there. That's the boys dormitories. Cluster A is for girls.

The facilitator who helped Steven is Darryl's friend but he didn't recognized me. Maybe it's because of we've only met once or twice before. Haha. His name is Farouk. Jagalah ko Farouk x knal sa. Miahahaha.

Steven posing for the camera

View from the window

Me cam-whoring in front of the mirror inside the dorm. Haha~

Jude, Steven's friend. His room is just 2 rooms away. Jadi ada jugalah kwn dia.

After completing the registration, we went to Tuaran. My dad's friend, Uncle Peter Pipin invited us to his son's wedding reception. Teeheee. To Ellron & Cecimilah, congratulations and God bless both of you always!

I sang 2 songs for them to entertain all the guests. Hosoko Sinduo Ginavo & My Heart Will Go On.

Then we went back home and proceed to another wedding reception invitation in my own village. Saw Aunt Alison there too. To Lawrie & Mesikata, big congratulations and may both of you will be showered with blessing. I was invited to sing too. Haha. Mana boleh escape kan? Lucky for me, Richard (the musician) chose the songs for me and I sang 2 songs which were Abal Mantad Kampung & Adaa.

When will it be my turn to get married? Haha. You still have a loooooooooooong way to go Steffy. Don't think too much :P *wink*
I am waiting for my one and only. Just like what I've heard Kakak Mimie said once to our little niece, Avie 'You don't go and tackle guys. Let them tackle you even if you have to wait until you get old' Haha~

When Steffy eats McD's ChocoTop

ChocoTop RM1.60? I thought it's RM2.50 *sigh*

I love eating it because it makes me feel chocolate toppe~

I accompanied my dad to the MAS Airport just now to fetch my mum. She went to Kelantan last Tuesday for a principal meeting regarding the PPSMI? Okay that's only my assumption because she talks something about the PPSMI forum happening there and how they coped with it.

Dad and myself arrived there around 10.20 pm and I forced (yes. forced my dad because I didn't bring my purse. haha) him to buy me a ChocoTop (there up there, can't you see that delicious ChocoTop in the picture above?). It only costs him RM2.50 what. He gave me a RM10 note okay. Tulung lah daddy, ini McD ok. Bukan Kenny Rogers or Secret Recipe. Wahahaha. Then I asked him for smaller change (saja bha).

The guy who is in charge with the counter at the outer part (you know that McD have 2 counters right? 1 at the inside and 1 is situated at the outside which serves their ice-cream, McFlurry and etc? Got it? Ah-hah. Yes that's right), hm, I tell you. He tried to create the ChocoTop TWICE! But somehow he failed. His colleague (which is a girl) was there looking at him with a disgusted face (or u cn call it xda hrpn pnya face) because why on Earth he cannot make a ChocoTop? (fine, I am exaggerating. why? because it is a chocotop. anything relates to chocotop can be considered as serious bha) lol~

The guy complaints that the amount of chocolate was little and that's why he failed to 'dunk' all the chocolate around the ice-cream. 2nd time he failed again and this time he complained that the ice-cream was not cold enough or 'cair'. Lastly he asked his girl colleague to do it for him. So she have to the other counter (inside) and make 1 for me *sigh*

FYI, this chocotop is my 4th chocotop and you are the worst chocotop maker ever. How dare you not knowing to do chocotop. *emo mode*

Me and dad went to the arrival hall (Gate 2) to take a seat and wait for mum. Thanks la. Mum's flight got delayed for 25 min ar. Huhu.

~~~ Now comes the fun part. Jeng jeng jeng ~~~
Two little kiddos who I assumed are brothers (around 5 to 6 years of age) were running around at the area and suddenly they stopped right beside me. I look at them and they were like 'I want to have my own ice-cream too' Hahahahahahaha~~~ *strike one*
They stared at me for maybe about a minute or two and suddenly they ran back towards their parents which were seating at the final row behind. I heard them say 'Daddy. I want ice-cream. Ice-cream' Hahahahahahaha~~~ *strike two*
My dad laughed and I was like 'Uh-oh. Habis la me kena mara by their parents this'. After a while I finished my ChocoTop and went to the toilet to clean myself up. In the end, the parents managed to talk to their children in not buying them ice-cream. Telling them it's not good/healthy for kids to have ice-cream at night like that la. True true :P Sorry kiddos. Bahahaha~
Me (noticed something? hint: my hair) :D lalalalalala~
I was attacked by shiver syndrome after having my ice-cream. MAS Airport is super cold especially at night. Eating ChocoTop while in the airport? Bad idea. Combo cold to the max!!
Tips: Do not eat ice-cream in MAS airport during night time. I mean it. This tips do not only comply to kids but adults too ya :P
Oh and yes. I met my ex-tutorial mate in LMC, Santha Pang currently studying in UMS too with me but different course and UMS is a damn big U where the chance of meeting your friends (different faculty) is 10% (perhaps I can say once in a month?). Seriously. Haha. We had a nice 10-15 minutes chat about our studying life and etc. He was waiting for his sister too. She's coming back for the holidays and her flight too from Kelantan. Same like mum. Kelantan>KLIA>KKIA
Santha (ya. I stole this pic from his blog. haha. thnx Santha :D )
Alright then. I think that's about it. Oh. I forgot 1 more thing.
I want to share with you what had happened to me today:
1. Woke up late but xda hal bha kalau di Babagon tu. Ok saja~
2. Sikit lagi jatuh sana jambatan gantung yg otw mau p Babagon hatceri.
3. At home, at first I wanted to cook Maggie Mee Goreng + telur mata kerbau but when I open the cabinet, no more eggs. My brother forgot to ask dad to buy.
4. After overcoming my frustration, I decided to cook Maggi Ayam + fishball (the ones that I made myself at Likas last week) but when I open the freezer, Steven had finished it all by cooking it with his Maggi Ayam, he is already eating it that time. I ate 1 from him. So sad :'( I wanted to let all my family taste the fishball but sorry mum and dad because Steven and Aaron ate it all
5. I cancelled to work as an Asst Manager of 'something' at the very last minute. Frustrating. Hm. For sure my name will be blacklisted for that organization. God please help me with this.
6. I scolded 2 promoters at Megalong for being rude towards me. Hah! Sudah la sa mmg bad mood sbb bad day kan. If you are thinking that I am having PMS, you're wrong indeed :P because I am just having such a bad day mah. Usually I will only smile at these promoters and say 'ada sudah' walk-away tactics
7. The ChocoTop incidence above! *sigh*
However, all the matters above did offended me somewhat and somewhere, but somehow I managed to pull it off and think about it as a positive way growing up. Just like that!
That's about it. Bye and have a good night sleep~ Zzzzz
Dry Eye, Eye Drops, Dry Eye Treatment
Dry eye is a condition in which there are insufficient tears to lubricate and nourish the eye. Tears are necessary for maintaining the health of the front surface of the eye and for providing clear vision. People with dry eyes either do not produce enough tears or have a poor quality of tears. Dry eye is a common and often chronic problem, particularly in older adults.
With each blink of the eyelids, tears are spread across the front surface of the eye, known as the cornea. Tears provide lubrication, reduce the risk of eye infection, wash away foreign matter in the eye, and keep the surface of the eyes smooth and clear. Excess tears in the eyes flow into small drainage ducts, in the inner corners of the eyelids, which drain in the back of the nose.
One of the most popular ways to correct vision is with a procedure called LASIK (laser in-situ keratomileusis), which uses a laser to change the curvature of the cornea (outer window of the eye).
LASIK is for those who:
  • want to reduce or eliminate their dependence on glasses or contacts.
  • are at least 18 years of age.
  • have had a stable eye prescription for at least one year.
  • have no health issues affecting their eyes.
  • have no signs of glaucoma or cataracts.
When You Are The Other Woman
"Being The Other Woman to another girl's man is a sometimes exhilarating, often funny, very exhausting and usually heartbreaking experience. Moral implications aside, there are some practical questions you should ask yourself before you get all tangled up in such a schemozzle -Angela Lee- Cleo Magazine"
I read this article in Cleo Mag yesterday at Joanas Saloon in Donggongon.
Well, how do I feel after reading it? (eventhough I didn't read the whole thing). I feel wonderful. I have gained new information, furthermore it's a totally different point of view about The Other Woman.
Usually, all of us, majority of us, we will feel hatred and bad feelings towards The Other Woman but we never thought about what will The Other Woman have gone through by becoming The Other Woman in another girl's man life. Her life would not be happy at all because she knew from the beginning that she's not The Real Girlfriend.
The feelings one man have towards The Real Girlfriend and The Other Woman is different. The love a man feels towards The Real Girlfriend is stronger than the love towards the other.
Before becoming The Other Woman, she must think carefully at first and ask herself these questions:
1. How long will this scandalous relationship will continue?
2. Am I willing to be The Other Woman forever or wanting to be The Future Girlfriend?
3. Will he willing to be there for me whenever I need him to be?
Another most important point is what is the point of becoming The Other Woman? Just for fun and wasting time? Is it worth it? Will you be happier? That is why becoming The Other Woman is not easy and not fun at all. Will you not fall in love with him? If you do, how is that possible because he is already another girl's man?
Maybe the only solution that The Other Woman can do here is to ask the guy to tell The Real Girlfriend about her existence as The Other Woman. If the guy can't do that, then it's your decision whether you want to continue this roller-coaster ride or just find a steady guy who might be better than a girl's man. Bear in mind that we cannot blame guys for cheating on us. Every guy have his own reason why he cheats and it might comes from The Real Girlfriend herself. Overall, these experience makes us stronger each day regardless of how it would be.
So girls out there, think about it before you decide to become The Other Woman. It will be pretty heartbreaking you know. For both of you and mostly you alone because you are breaking your own heart. Why find trouble?
Before this I will feel angry if I know someone is The Other Woman of any girl's man but after reading this particular article, I feel sorry for The Other Woman because they suffer more than The Real Girlfriend. Why do I say this?
1. The whole world knows who is The Real Girlfriend of that man.
2. When the guy says 'I Love You' to The Other Woman, does he really mean it?
3. You can't go out in public with that guy if you are The Other Woman.
4. Most of the time will the guy spend his time with The Other Woman or The Real Girlfriend?
5. How big is the possibility that The Other Woman will become The Future Girlfriend?
6. Let's say that from becoming The Other Woman you are now The Current Girlfriend. Will your guy would not have The Other Woman again?
It's heartbreaking if we found out that our guy is having an affair. So, make your decisions wisely. Maybe it comes from our own faults too. May the God almighty guide us in our daily lives. Amen.
Have a nice day y'all
Prince of Persia: Sands of Time
Hot hot hot stuff! Why no 3D le? *sigh*
Synopsis: In this most anticipated game-to-movie adaptation, we follow Prince Dastan (Jake Gyllenhaal) as he teams up with Princess Tamina (Gemma Arterton) to stop a ruthless leader from laying his hands on the Sands of Time, a gift from the gods that can be used to reverse time and rule the world.
Now, movie review. I personally think Prince Dustan and Princess Tamina are 2 hot celebrities! Aww~ When watching the movie I can imagine that I am playing it on Intan's PSP. Hee~ I love the graphics. The actions. Everythingness. Gagagaga.
My rating: 10/10 yeah baby!
I am melting~ *sigh*
Steven x puas hati with this guy because he never have a picture where he stares directly at the camera. Hahaha~
I went to the movies to watch this movie with my family. Mum, dad, Steven, Aaron and Aunt Lily. Before that, we went to Karamunsing to shop a few things and have our early dinner there.
When it was time for us to go to Cathay Cineplex KK, my car which is my precious Pajero does not want to start! *sigh* Car battery problem. As usual.
So, the solution was we had to walk to the cinema which took 15 minutes walk. Luckily Karamunsing and Cathay was not too far away but I tell you, when you walk with a 3-inch heels it feels 'good'. Lucky me, I sort of had a bad feeling when I want to wear my 5-inch heels before that. Haha~
After the movie, we called my uncle to fetch us at the cinema but he didn't answer his phone. So we decided to walk back to Karamunsing, again for the last time.
My uncle arrived and helped us fix the car. Tada~ On our way back home liao.
Restoran Atong
Most of you here in Donggongon area probably have already heard about a famous restaurant which serves Fish Head MeeHoon Soup with Milk which is Restoran Atong/ Atong's Restaurant. Situated behind New Metro Restaurant near the Siga Roundabout. Yes. You will definitely find it there.
Just now, Steven and I went there to have our late breakfast together with Uncle Joe around 10 in the morning.
Welcome to Atong sign
You can order Meehoon, Mee or Kuey Teow for the noodles. Fresh or fried sliced fish. With or without the milk. I will ask you to go with the milk because it tastes sooo GOOD! They also serve Tom Yam, porridge, fried mee and etc.. but in my opinion, the soup is the best among all. Teehee~
Fried Sliced Fish Tom Yam Soup ordered by Uncle Joe
My Fresh Sliced Fish Meehoon Soup with milk. Yummy~
My Lemon Teh Ping :)
My Bonia shades and handphone bag. Haha
After finishing our food and having varieties of conversation topics with Uncle Joe, we went back home. Did some photoshoot at the garage. Haha.
Steven *sigh*
 Uncle Joe came to the house doing some Astro's survey thingy.
Steven helped him with it and was paid for participating in that survey. Nice. You are paid just like that after answering survey questions. How nice is that?
Models of the day. Hee~
Wei.. It's Father's Day!! Yippee
Today everyone is celebrating Father's Day with their family. A husband, a father, a grandfather, a great grandfather and etc.. Some of them are still here with us but some of them might be up there in heaven, watching us grow day by day and night by night. We love them for always being there for us.
To my dad, Mr Jinius Jipanin. Thank you dad for becoming the world's greatest dad. You have taught me everything since the day I came to this world. When I made mistakes, you scolded me for it. I know that the experience of watching me grow up for these 22 years are full of tears and joy. However, despite of all that, mum and dad never stop to guide me. I realized that I have always let you guys down. Sometimes, I have said things that one should never speak their parents. Who are we to shout at them or sometimes scream at them like a crazy person.
Thank you dad for this wonderful experience. I am becoming a better person because of your love and care. I still remember the day I have a fight with my dad just because of durian when I was 15 years old. My cousins, Alyn and Avin were living at our house in Kolopis at that time. That was the very 1st time my dad screamed at me. I can't really remember what were the details about that situation but believe me, I was really shocked and sad. I was doing my revision at that time and because of that incidence I went into my room and I cried silently. Alyn comforted me. Then, my mum came into the room to talk to me. Told me what's wrong but I can't even explain it to her. Alyn told her that my dad shouted at me. Mum was trying hard to make me understand why was dad so angry at me although she herself was shocked too. She told me that maybe dad was really having a bad day at work. FYI, my dad is usually a cool person. He never scream or shout whenever he is angry. Sometimes only to my 2 brothers la, especially when calling them around the house. Payah sikit mau panggil tu dua munyit tu. Anyways, the next day I tried to prevent myself from talking to my dad (to show him that his daughter is merajuk-ing) Haha. But somehow I failed *sigh* I tend to forget things like that easily bah. I don't do merajuk for a long time. Bagus bah c Steffy ni~ Huahuahua
Local people say 'Senang lagi mau jaga 1000 ekor kerbau daripada jaga 1 orang anak perempuan'. I agreed with this statement because I have went through these kinds of things. I am very hard to be taken care of. I admit it. I am not the type of girl who will just go through the road straight ahead. I like to divert here and there but somehow I still managed to reach the end of the straigh road. Haha~ If you know what I mean. I am a very naughty child. I don't take things easily. I am not saying that I am a samseng or whatsoever but that's just me. I am stubborn, I like to break rules and more. Sorry to say but this is who I am. A lot of you might disagree with me in this part but I am not the perfect it girl. Luckily, God have His own way to guide me to his Light of Life. Amen!
Peace be with you all and Happy Sunday!
P/s: Tomorrow I am going to start to join belly dance class with my friends. Wee~ :D Hahahahaha. Interested? Come and join us. Contact me for further details. BB
I am not a football fan but I am NOW!
Before beginning my post I would like to say thank you to Serena for encouraging me to watch ONE football match. Haha. (Ahem.. Ser darling.. I am helping to promote your blog here kama :P)
My 1st football match was ARG vs KOR. It turned out to be I am supporting Argentinian and Spaniard because I have learned their language in UMS. Haha. Xda kaitan ni. Sot. I like the way they played. Full of emotions. Especially their coach, Diego Maradona. Apuu. He is such a cool guy!
My 2nd football match was GER vs SRB. Too many yellow cards man! I am not sure whether all of the players really love to commit fouls or maybe the referee was super strict by giving them yellow cards in each fouls they make. Balik2 jatuh. Sikit2 jatuh. Ada yg pura2 lg tu jatuh. Haiz. Bikin panas. It was boring watching them play. No umph! at all. Ngehehe. Who am I to criticize them right. I don't play football very well pun.
Believe it or not. I have bookmarked FIFA's website and kept it as my favourite website. How cool is that? Hahahaha~~ 1st time in Steffy's history! Woot woot~~
FIFA Theme Song by Shakira
Waka waka (This Time for Africa) - Shakira
You're a good soldier
Choosing your battles
Pick yourself up
And dust yourself off
Get back in the saddle
You're on the front line
Everyone's watching
You know it's serious
We are getting closer
This isn't over
The pressure is on
You feel it
But you got it all
Believe it
When you fall get up, oh oh
If you fall get up, eh eh
Tsamina mina zangalewa
Cuz this is Africa
Sejauh manakah kenyataan ini.
Adakah anda bersetuju atau tidak. Berikan alasan anda.
Pada pendapat saya, kenyataan itu adalah betul kerana ia akan menyebabkan keluarga porak-peranda, berpecah-belah dan tidak aman. Sekiranya ia diselesaikan sama sekali pun ia masih meninggalkan kesan titik hitam di lubuk hati insan yang tercinta.
Jawapan saya ini tidak berkaitan dengan hidup dan mati. Tidak ada kena-mengena pun dengan kehidupan sebenar sesiapa. Harap maklum.
Saya menjawab bukan berdasarkan pengalaman hidup saya kerana diri sendiri pun memang belum berkahwin :D
Sekian dan terima kasih
Life is full of surprises
Last Sunday's gospel reading tells us to love our enemies. Which means to forgive those who hurts you, who talks bad about you, who cursed you and all the bad bad BAD stuff which they had ever done to you. Forgiveness for some people is like 'hell no!' but for some people like me it's 'hello!'. What I mean here is some people do forgive other people easily but some people do not forgive or perhaps I can say never forgive people. However, let's turn it the other way around. If you mistakenly hurt a friend and you ask for their forgiveness, would you want her to forgive you or not to forgive you. Bonus question is it? My point here is you yourself do not want to forgive people but you want them to forgive you when you say sorry to them. A few people in the world are like this (most of them maybe?). I am not sure whether they are born with it or maybe that's who they are since I don't give a damn when.
I do forgive people but sometimes it takes time. Maybe for a while or maybe took a little longer than expected. LOL. I might get angry easily but when I realized that if I have said something that might hurt their feelings, I will quickly get back at them and say sorry instead. Haha.
Life is so full of surprises. Ugly or not. That's the truth. The ugly truth. During my 22 years in this world, I have learned a lot. Yeah. I know. Still more to come. Expecting it in every bit of my day. I do thank the Lord for giving me the privileges to live until this day. Alleluia! Praise the Lord!
I forgive you for who you are, for what you did and for what you are doing right now. This goes to all the people that I know. Nobody is perfect right. All people make mistakes and who are we to judge them. Only God can judge us because He is the creator. However, as human beings who loves each other very much, I strongly felt that in order for us to take care of each other, we must always remind each and everyone of us about our wrong doings and mistakes that we are about to do. So, always bear in mind that the more advices you get, the more love you receive. Hehe.
Dear you-know-who-you-are, I trust you and I believe you. I forgive you. There you go. I have typed it here. You can print my post if you want, to make it some kind of evidence or whatever you like. Can you please you-know-what-to-do ? I'm Yours - Jason Mraz. The choice is yours.
Appreciate your loved ones because we do not know when we might lose them. I love you mum, dad and my 2 big brothers (big bro because they are bigger than me in terms of size. Ngee. I'm their little sister in terms of size :P )
It's better to love someone who loves you back than someone you love. Booooyaaaaaaaa~
Find someone who makes you happy, sad and happy again. Happy forever and ever is boring. A little drama suits me well. I love drama! Bha ya laa tu. Bring it on bha!
Relationship is all about sacrifice but too much sacrifice is WTF and WTH. Why oh why. How oh how. Where oh where.
